There has been a lot of fear going on in our Nation between all of the recent tragedies happening & it affects a lot of hearts and minds. This week, Life Water Church has teamed up with Adventures in missions & we went on a scavenger hunt throughout Centennial Olympic park in downtown Atlanta. We had the opportunity to love on the city of Atlanta, Georgia & bring the Kingdom of Heaven down to earth. The youth group from WaterLife church has been so full of positive energy and joy since they arrived! So many people in the downtown area were waiting for a smile, an interaction, or just to be seen is what I noticed upon our group’s ministry outing. We started our outreach by casting out fears in this fountain. The students told me some of their fears about their futures & what their future holds. We got to speak life and perfect love of the Father into these areas. We decided to take that fear and remove it from our life. Then we gave it to God by throwing a penny into this fountain, as a symbol of God removing it once and for all!
“Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken.”-Psalm 55:22
“There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love.”- 1 John 4:18
We spoke truths over any lies we might believe and we chose to put our faith in that we know our Father is good!
Our teens from Water Life Church in NC have been stepping up into leadership, seeing ministry opportunities and being bold in their faith. They have been sharing God’s love through interactions,taking photo’s for visitors, giving their food and cold waters to homeless; they have been seeing needs and stepping up! We are excited for what the rest of the week holds as we grow in faith with one another as we serve the Atlanta region.
